Flagstone Farm is an events venue on 75 acres of rolling hills surrounding a beautiful lake. It is quietly nestled in a location that is easily accessible from Birmingham and Tuscaloosa as well as surrounding areas. Flagstone Farm offers an inviting atmosphere of the tranquility of being out in the country yet close to the city. There are both indoor and outdoor areas for events such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, bridal teas, parties, retreats or corporate meetings. We offer a barn that sits high up on the hill, lit inside with rustic lantern lighting along the sides and a spectacular Swarovski crystal chandelier in the center that reflects from the tin ceiling. Above the barn is a loft area that is spacious and comfortably designed with a slight air of sophistication. The barn and loft have a spacious, open, floor plan with a neutral color palette that will coordinate with whatever color scheme you choose for your event.
There are large grassy areas alongside the barn with flagstone patios and pathways leading to a deck that overlooks the lake and cottage, as well. We have several nice flat areas perfect for tent events if desired. String lights hang gracefully surrounding the barn perimeter for softly lit nighttime events.
Sitting quietly down by the lake is a charming cottage with a large old-fashioned front porch complete with a fireplace for those cool evenings. Inside you will find a full kitchen and comfortable sitting area for relaxing. Upstairs is a loft with a light, airy, feminine décor. Outside a flagstone path leads from the cottage to a pier where the guys may see an opportunity create new fish stories and the ladies may envision a smaller more intimate setting for a wedding or party with the lake as the perfect backdrop.
